X Factor 2010: Cheryl Cole ‘gutted’ to have missed bootcamp
Cheryl Cole left a lovely message for all us journalists who attended today’s X Factor press launch.
In a short video clip, which was recorded last week in LA, the soon to be divorced Mrs C admitted that she was ‘gutted’ to have missed the show’s final auditions and bootcamp but revealed that she is now fighting fit and ready to return to work.
Cheryl took sick just before the X Factor hit Manchester in June and was later hospitalised after it was discovered that she had contracted malaria during a trip to Tanzania. She was subsequently replaced by Pussycat Doll Nicole Scherzinger, who is said to be vying for a full time role on Simon Cowell’s American version of the show. 27 year old Cheryl is currently recuperating in LA but in today’s video she looked fresh faced and the picture of health.
Cheryl said:
“I’m absolutely gutted I missed the last audition and the boot camp stage but I’m really looking forward to seeing who Simon, Louis and Nicole have chosen. I can’t wait to get my category and get my teeth into it. I will be raring to go by judges homes.”
It has to be said, we can’t wait to see her back where she belongs…..the show wouldn’t be the same without her dimples!
