Dannii Minogue has reportedly insisted that she will return to judge on this year’s X Factor, despite being pregnant with her first baby.

Dannii is due to give birth in July, but will have to attend auditions from May onwards. However, though the new series will launch in August, the live shows won’t start until late September, early October, giving her a few months to adjust to parenthood.

The Australian singer is said to be keen to follow in the footsteps of Holly Willoughby, who returned to present the show just months after giving birth. Holly often brought her baby to work and enjoyed regular breast feeding breaks.

A source close to Dannii told The Daily Star: “Holly proved you can be a new mum and work on the show and Dannii is keen to follow in her footsteps.”

A pal told The Sun: “She absolutely wants to come back. She’s only having a baby – she’s quite capable of sitting there and judging.

“When the live shows come round, she’ll have had her baby and be able to juggle both.”
