X Factor 2010: Diana Vickers sings ‘My Wicked Heart’ (VIDEO)

Diana Vickers returned to The X Factor stage tonight.

The 19 year old singer shot to fame as a semi-finalist on series five of the ITV show. She has since notched up a number one single and album and played the title role in the West End revival of The Rise and Fall of Little Voice, for which she won the award for “London Newcomer of the Year” in the Theatregoers’ Choice Awards.

This evening Vickers performed ‘My Wicked Heart’ on the results show. It is the first single from the re-release of her debut album Songs From The Tainted Cherry Tree and is available to download RIGHT NOW!

Diana looked stunning this evening, dressed in a Beyonce style sparkly leotard, complete with a trendy cape. Her vocals were flawless, her confidence was amazing and the song is ridiculously catchy, though we found it hard to ignore the incredible similarity between the chorus of Wicked Heart and the Red Hot Chilli Peppers classic ‘Under The Bridge.’

diana Vickers was shit, i cant believe anyone could say her vocals were flawless, it was bloody awful, i could not understand a word she sang, and as for what she was wearing…awful.

  2. Julie says:

AWFULLLL Like always! But all the pop stars cant sing…

  3. Greg says:

What a complete waste of space this girl is. I have heard tortured animals that didn’t sound so awful.

    Utter bollocks.

  4. SUSAN ANN says:

Just watched Diane vickers on X Factor and never understood a word, could of been sung in Dutchshe can’t sing for toffee.

  5. Leanna says:

I really think she has an amazing voice, the song is interesting and she sang it well. But as soon as she came out I didn’t like the cheesy set, clothes etc. She needs some sophistication with work on posture, walking, style, choreography, a proper set, etc). She is a pretty girl and there is potential but she needs intense lessons on the above.

oh common pple what did u want her to do? come out in a pretty white dress and just stand frozen!?? look at hoe creative lady gaga’s performances are and how crazy Beyonce’s and Rihanna’s…Diana was fantastic last night and i was stunned that i actually liked the song!! i was never keen on her songs once or boy who murdered love but this one is a real standout and its very catchy..really love the theatrical aspects in her performance..really showed her as a true star of her own show

  7. Jen says:

Were we all listening to the same thing?? I thought her voice was amazing! Compared with the rubbish Katy I-can’t-sing-to-save-my-life Perry after, Diana was awesome! And I loved the song.

  8. Zlatka says:

The dress does not suite her figure. She should have stuck to her previously formed image of a cute girl prancing around bare feet. Now she is trying to look like a diva and the show put on for her is such an overkill. I suppose Diana does not really have any say in this. Her producers thought “let’s show how glamorous it can be for the winners” and went overboard with the production.
As far vocals go, they are good. She has got good pipes, but this song was a bit shite, and this music style does not suit her.

This girl is awesome. She looses x factor and then wins an “oustanding newcomer” award for “Little voice”. She then releases a debut single and album that hit number one. She co writes her songs and plays a few musical instruments. And shes only 19 !!! This girl will only get better and better. Maybe not the next Kate Bush but she will rock.

  11. Momo says:

    She is amazing!
