X Factor hopeful Cher Lloyd was pictured in London yesterday, looking thinner than ever in a blue jumpsuit and beige ankle boots.
The teenager singer looked skinny and frail in the shots and insiders have reportedly expressed concerns for her wellbeing, worrying that she won’t be able to cope with the amount of attention the ITV show attracts.
16 year old Cher, from Malvern in Worcestershire was seen impressing Cheryl Cole, Simon Cowell, Louis Walsh and Natalie Imbruglia on a recent X Factor show, when she sang Turn My Swag On by Soulja Boy. (The Keri Hilson version).
She is said to have made it past the bootcamp stage but producers are keeping a close eye on her and a source told The Daily Star:
“The X Factor is a big deal and you do need nerves of steel to get through it every week.
“Contestants are separated from everything and everyone they know and are expected to work long and tiring days to prepare.
“Cher is from a small town and has a tight-knit group of friends. She is also from a huge family that everyone in Malvern knows and she will hate being without them all.”
“She will be a nervous wreck, we just hope it won’t break her.”
On Cher’s time at bootcamp, insiders also told The Daily Mail:
‘Everyone was worried about Cher, she was extremely nervous and shaking at some points.
‘She is quite bolshy on stage, but she sat by herself at lunch. She didn’t eat much and looked frail and vulnerable as she was accompanied by a member of production.
‘If she gets through to the live shows next month – which she is a shoo-in for – she will have to be given a bit of extra special attention. She is very young.’
