Katy Perry will reportedly join the X Factor judging panel today, as wannabes audition in the Irish city of Dublin.

The ‘I Kissed A Girl’ singer will sit alongside Simon Cowell, Louis Walsh and Cheryl Cole in the Dublin Convention today for two rounds of auditions, one starting at 1.15 pm and the other kicking off at 6.15pm.

She will no doubt be hoping that she is better received than either Geri Halliwell who was booed during her guest judge stint in Glasgow, or Natalie Imbruglia who was taunted by cries of ‘who are you?’ and criticised for wearing the same dress twice when she appeared in Birmingham.
