Katy Perry has revealed that she has a little bit of a girl crush on X Factor judge Cheryl Cole.

The ‘California Girls’ singer stepped in as a guest judge for yesterday’s X Factor Dublin auditions and by the sounds of it enjoyed a very eventful day. After leaving the Irish city last night, Perry took to her Twitter page to praise the stand out act of the day, Rebecca and to compliment ‘sweetie’ Cheryl Cole.

She wrote:

"There's ONE star today and her name is REBECCA! GET IT GIRL! (sic)"

"Thank you DUBLIN, X Factor & to everyone that auditioned, you were brave!"

On Cheryl she wrote:

"And P.s. I wish Cheryl Cole tweeted, she was a sweeeeetie pateeetie today. (girl crush alert)."

In an earlier interview with Irish TV show Expose, Katy admitted that she was looking forward to meeting the Girls Aloud singer for the first time, admitting that she 'loved her dimples!'
