X Factor 2010: Nicole Scherzinger praises ‘brilliant’ Simon Cowell and ‘sweet’ Louis Walsh
Nicole Scherzinger has admitted that she thoroughly enjoyed her time on The X Factor and praised Simon Cowell and Louis Walsh for making her job so easy.
The Pussycat Doll stood in for Dannii Minogue and Cheryl Cole at the show’s Manchester auditions and later bootcamp stage and told Perez Hilton that she was nervous about her judging role.
She said:
“Well I actually did The X Factor in the UK, I was like, ‘What’s this going to be like? Am I going to suck?’ because I’m much more comfortable on stage being on stage than in the judges’ position,” she told Hilton.
“But, I really enjoyed the experience. It was kind of crazy. It was just a lot of fun. Simon Cowell was just brilliant and Louis was just the sweetest thing ever and lovely.
“It was just a great experience.”
When asked about rumours that the stint was an audition for a full time role on Cowell’s new American X Factor, Scherzinger laughed:
“Oh I don’t know anything about that one.”
