X Factor 2010: OMG can someone please release Shirlena Johnson!!! (VIDEO)

My head is aching after watching Shirlena Johnson on the X Factor.

The crazy mum of one sang Duffy’s Mercy for the judges at her London audition, though to describe it as singing is a bit of a stretch on our part. She wailed, chanted and screamed about Mercy and asking people to release her….we wish they had – straight into the local asylum.

More shocking than Shirlena’s performance was the fact that Simon Cowell and Louis Walsh actually seemed to enjoy it. We can only assume that Simon saw the resemblance to his old pal Sinitta and took pity on Shirl. Thank God for sane Cheryl Cole. Check out the judges comments below.

Judges Comments:

Cheryl Cole: I am actually speechless.

Simon Cowell: I have never ever heard anything like that in my life! What was all that release me stuff? It was like a musical exorcism wasn’t it? I have to say I love you, your completely crazy but I like that. You are fantastically nuts.

Louis Walsh: You are so original, it was like you were making it up as you went along.

So with two yeses from Simon and Louis Shirlena unbelievably made bootcamp. What did you think of her performance? Leave your comments below.

  12. Cindy says:

This is one of the most entertaining performances I have ever seen on the X Factor.
It certainly takes a lot of courage to do that kind of
    performance.
Shirlena is natural and refreshing and the way she made
people laugh just by being herself is priceless.
I watched it several times afterwards and
the way the judges´ faces and moods changed is amazing.
The whole performance including the judges is almost like a mini movie and like Simon and Louis I would like
    to see more of Shirlena.

    Good luck Shirlena

  13. Rich says:

“We all need eyes to see” and we all need ears to hear too. This was astoundingly funny. After a particularly miserable day when I was feeling thoroughly fed up, this was the one thing to bring a smile to my face all day. Fantastically entertaining. Reminded me a litte of Margarita Pracatan. Brilliant

  14. chris says:

This is why I love the x factor where else could this happen. Just absolutely hysterical. She must have been on day release from the local loony bin. Release all the lunatics from the asylums and turn them into stars. Urum urum

  15. Cameron Scott says:

    “Release Fart, Release Wind!”

HOW FUNNY IMAGINE IF SHE ACTUALLY FARTED IN THE MIDDLE OF IT.
