Pixie Lott has revealed that she was very impressed with ‘beautiful’ Cheryl Cole, when they met on the X Factor panel earlier this year.

The ‘Boys and Girls’ singer stood in for Dannii Minogue, when she was on maternity leave and joined Simon Cowell, Louis Walsh and Cheryl when they judged hopefuls in Cardiff. Cole collapsed the following day after contracting malaria and on meeting the Girls Aloud singer, Pixie told The Sun:

“I was there the day before she collapsed.

“She was so lovely. She’s beautiful, and up close she’s just so pretty.”

Pixie added: “It was so nice spending time with them and getting to know them a bit.”

Lott also admitted that she found Shirlena Johnson’s audition ‘scary.’

She added: “I’ve never seen anything like it.

“I was watching it with my dad thinking, ‘Oh my word, there are people like that in this world’.”
