Kash Dholliwar opened tonight’s X factor show.

The 21 year old mobile phone salesman auditioned in Cardiff for Pixie Lott, Cheryl Cole, Simon Cowell and Louis Walsh, singing Neyo’s Closer. Before his performance he told Dermot O’Leary:

Other people would probably perceive me as a flash guy by the car that I drive which is obviously a BMW, a white BMW convertible. I’ve got diamond earrings in, they’re not real but obviously they’re white gold. I’ve got some sunglasses – River Island never went wrong anywhere. Image is part of it but you’ve got to deliver with the voice too. There are those people out there who make things happen or there are those people who wait for things to happen.

Unfortunately for Kash his singing was pretty awful. From his smooth moves and attitude it was obvious that he has a pretty inflated view of himself! So we weren’t too upset then when the judges took him down a peg or two.

Judges Comments:

Cheryl Cole: Yeah I wasn’t really feeling it Kash.

Simon Cowell: You have a very very whiny voice and you sound like you have a bad cold.

So four nos and Kash lost out on his bootcamp dream! Not really surprising that was it?
