X Factor 2010: Simon Cowell likes Rebecca Ferguson’s ‘incredible voice’ (VIDEO)
A woman expected to impress when she makes her TV debt on the X Factor, is Manchester’s Rebecca Ferguson.
The 23 year old mum of two was moved to tears when, after her audition, guest judge Nicole Scherzinger exclaimed:
“Your voice moves me. You’re special.”
Rebecca explained that her confidence had taken a knocking after she was turned down at other auditions and then split from her partner and father of her two children.
Simon Cowell told her:
“Potentially you have an incredible voice. Start looking people in the eye.”
Check out our clip of Becca singing outside the audition venue below.

I agree…..Becca to win in my book tho!!!!!
Now this is a girl of class. Lovely voice did not overkill the song. Her dress suited the era that the song was in and even though I wasn’t born when Sam Cooke sang the song, her voice portrayed raw emotion of oppression at that time. I will agree 100 percent with Simon on the point of audience contact. What will help her is to pick a friendly face in the audience and sing to the individual for just a few seconds and then looking for another friendly face again for a few seconds. If she achieves that she will be the best thing that the x factor has produced since Leona Lewis and Alexandra Burke
My thoughts exactly!!!! We’ll all have to make sure we vote for this girl! She is the potential winner!!!!!
Wow a woman that has cheryl and the pussy cats shaking in there boots. A deva in the making. . This girl/woman has it. The next cher – tina-even better. hope her dream comes true
