Finally! Simon Cowell has seen sense and cut all contact with professional hanger on Sinitta.

The former pop star has been living off her connection with Cowell for years but last week went a step too far when she launched a website for singing wannabes, with a section promising to help people get onto his X Factor show.

The website has since been taken down after the threat of legal action from Talkback Thames, and relaunched without it’s X Factor section and Sinitta was subjected to a very angry phonecall from one of Simon’s aides, but the music mogul is refusing to speak to his former girlfriend in person.

Sinitta cried to The Sunday Mirror:

“I may lose my job over this. I am so upset.

“I know Simon is angry. He’s been angry with me before but never like this in all the nearly 30 years I have known him. He usually rings and it’s the call you dread.”

Instead, it was left to a PR girl to call her. “She said the team were very angry and upset with me and that I had not done myself any favours.”

On why she decided to affiliate her website with Simon’s show Sinitta added:

“I am passionate about the show and I just wanted to help.

“I was just trying to help the thousands of hopefuls who never get on to X Factor. I thought this was an opportunity for people to do it online, to upload their thing so everyone gets seen.

“I think Simon is upset because X Factor is upset. It is a big brand and they want to protect the brand.”

At this point, we are just hoping and praying that Mr C doesn’t give in and allow Sinitta to return to The X factor. We could do without her attention seeking stunts this year!
