X Factor 2010: Storm Lee thinks he can win! (VIDEO)
31 year old Storm Lee has upset many X Factor wannabes this year, by cockily claiming that he is ‘guaranteed’ a place on the live shows.
The Scottish singer moved to LA when he was just 17, in the hopes of becoming a professional performer. He has since worked with rock legends Ozzy Osbourne and Meat Loaf and recorded vocals for American Idol stars David Archuleta, Carrie Underwood, Clay Aiken and Bo Bice. He came close to having a TV career after he wrote and performed the theme tune for reality TV show Step It Up And Dance and starred on NBC’s karaoke game show ‘The Singing Bee.’
Lee has since returned to the UK to audition for The X Factor and other auditionees say his cocky attitude and real talent has upset many of the group.
A source told The Sun: “He is very, very confident. But it didn’t exactly impress judge Simon Cowell in his audition.
“It left some of the less experienced hopefuls feeling worried, though. They felt they could not compare to someone who had so much experience.”
The source added: “Tensions ran so high that some even got teary, fearing he had the edge.”
