X Factor 2011: Amelia Lily, Marcus Collins, Little Mix to duet with mentors

Amelia Lily, Marcus Collins and Little Mix will all take to the stage with their X Factor mentors this week it has been reported.

The finalists will each perform a song with either Kelly Rowland, Gary Barlow or Tulisa Contostavlos this Saturday night, before it is revealed which one will be going home and which two will make the Sunday final.

It is reported that Amelia and Kelly will perform Tina Turner’s River Deep, Mountain High together, while Little Mix and Tulisa will take on a mash up of two Alicia Keys songs Empire State Of Mind and If I Ain’t Got You.

Marcus and Gary have been busy with their performances at The Royal Albert Hall and at Collins’ homecoming in Liverpool, so only chose their song today it has been claimed. The pair will take on Billy Joel’s ‘Always A Woman,’ and Gary spoke about the planned performance here.

An insider told The Mirror:

“It’s going to be more pressured than ever.”

“The judges will be nervous as well because the song could be the difference between winning and losing.”

They added: “And on top of that, Simon Cowell will be watching from LA. So the judges are almost auditioning for their places on next year’s show as well.”

It was confirmed last night that Westlife will be joining the lineup for the weekend and will perform on Sunday night’s final show…..making it their fifth live X Factor performance to date.

Other stars confirmed for the weekend include Michael Bublé, JLS, Leona Lewis, Coldplay and One Direction.
