X Factor 2011: Carolynne Poole once performed with Tony Christie and Daniel Bedingfield
We’ve heard a lot about Carolynne Poole over the past few months and how amazing her X Factor audition was earlier in the year, so we were elated to discover that the brunette beauty would be featured on tonight’s final audition episode.
Next week, the cameras move to bootcamp, but this evening the overs category will get their chance to shine and Poole is certainly one of the night’s stand out acts.
The 30 year old singer from Huddersfield took to the stage and belted out a fantastic rendition of The Climb by Miley Cyrus, after which Kelly Rowland raved:
That was a really great performance, you have a beautiful voice.
Gary Barlow added:
Carolynne an amazing audition, congratulations.
However, the wannabe may have been less than honest with the judges, as when kelly asked how long she had been singing, she implied that she was very inexperienced and said:
I’ve not sung properly for the past eight years or so this is me giving it a go again.
While that may be technically true, the fact is that Carolynne has plenty of performing experience. She made it to the final of the 2003 series of BBC’s Fame Academy and in 2005 toured the UK with Tony Christie.
Watch her sing with Daniel Bedingfield below, as part of the Fame Academy competition and let us know, do you think Carolynne is good enough for the X Factor live shows. Also, to find out if she made it to judges houses, check out our final 32 judges houses spoiler post here.
