X Factor 2011 Charity Single: Listen to the full version of Wishing On A Star here (VIDEO)

FINALLY! This year’s X Factor single feels like it was a long time in coming, but this morning the track got it’s first radio play on Chris Moyles Radio 1 breakfast show.

The single is a cover of Rose Royce’s Wishing On A Star and all profits from it’s release will go to the charity ‘Together For Short Lives.’

The final sixteen acts – we assume minus Frankie Cocozza – will return to the X Factor stage this weekend, to perform the track and it will be available for download from Sunday. The physical copy will be in stores from Monday 28th November.

You can listen to the full track below, and it’s funny, we can very clearly pick out Marcus Collins, Misha B, Janet Devlin and Amelia Lily’s vocal segments, but some of the others seem pretty indistinguishable.

Also, if you can pick out One Direction’s voices, please tell us where and when as we are a bit sleepy this morning and can’t seem to hear Liam Payne in there anywhere!

Do you like the version? Is it as good as some of the previous charity singles released off the back of the ITV show? Leave your comments below.

Sophie’s voice is soooo recognisable… so sad she went out that early, she has a stand out recording voice (it’s evident on the M&S advert as well)
