X Factor 2011: Dutch reality TV reject Luigiano Paals auditions for UK show! (VIDEO)

Luigiano Paals didn’t find the success he was hoping for when he entered the Dutch version of the X Factor, so the singer travelled to the UK for another shot at fame this week.

Audience members who attended the Liverpool auditions last week report that Luigiano stunned judges Tulisa and Gary Barlow as he sang in the Echo Arena and told them that when living in The Netherlands, he entered their version of the reality TV show.

The singer, then 16, entered the show in 2009 and competed for six weeks (though he was in the bottom two for three of these) before being eliminated.

Luigiano told the panel that he didn’t succeed because he wasn’t ‘normal’ enough, which sounds a bit ominous to us and we are told he went on to sing ‘Ain’t No Sunshine’, after which all four judges raved about his vocal style.

Check out the video of Paals singing below and tell us, do you think he’s good enough for the UK live shows? Leave your comments below.

Sure, he’s a very good singer with a unique sound I would buy his CD when it is available, not a doubt on my mind.

  2. Me says:

That’s bull. He was just wasn’t one of the best vocalists on the show! There was one better singer in his categorie, and the girls and 26+ where so strong that season!

So him saying he wasn’t normal enough is just a big lie. Too bad cuz he’s a pretty good singer, just a liar too.

  3. Voice of Reason says:

He shouldn’t be allowed to enter. This is the UK X Factor – there used to be a rule that you had to be a UK resident. Are the producers that desperate for contestants?

    • kosta says:

because holland is in europe he would be a eu national.. thus meaning he actualy doesnt need to be a uk resident as he doesnt need a citizenship to live in the uk? does that make sense to you? im glad he joined he is Fantastic
