X Factor 2011: Gary Barlow will get Marcus Collins ‘the right label, the right songwriters, the right album’
Gary Barlow spent much of his time on tonight’s Xtra Factor, raving about how ‘nice’ Marcus Collins is and insisting that he isn’t about to turn his back, now that the X Factor is over.
The Take That star was definitely disappointed when his final act lost out on last night’s show, to girl group Little Mix, but he has insisted that he will now be at the former hairdresser’s side every step of the way, helping Collins to plan out his musical future.
Gary said:
We are going to stay in touch. I will make sure he gets looked after, he gets the right label, the right deal, the right songwriters, the right album, I want to make sure that this lad is really taken care of.
Praising the Liverpudlian singer, the dad of three continued:
I’m amazingly proud I really am. Especially, my first year on the show, to have someone who is so nice, I cannot say this enough. He has been no problem at all, until about five o’clock on a Saturday. At that point he used to fall to pieces and cry and all sorts!

Simon wants Little Mix to Win! He didn’t made any hide about it! He wants partout “Little Mix” to win! So, they won! There’s nothing to say anymore! Matt Cardle is there, Olly Murs is there, Joe McElderry all as solo artist rival for Marcus … so why he let Marcus win the competetion, if he already see that Little Mix are the one who bring him a lots of Cash! It’s so f***king clear as a bottle of crystal water!
I just hope if Gary really helps Marcus to find a record label who Marcus will be sign, wether from his own Future Record Label or Universal. Well, Universal is the big Record Label in the world, bigger than Sony Music or EMI. Take That, Robbie Williams, Kelly Rowland are Universal Kids, so Marcus too (i hope)! Take that, Robbie Williams, COldplay backing Marcus! I think he’s really in a good hand! Because this People are great songwriters, singers, producers, successful and huge around the world!

Marcus is amazing and he will go far. Loved Marcus from the first audition and now I will support after X Factor he has got the whole package.
Marcus is the best little mix won because the amount of vote coming from 4 differents towns s we taulksome of my friends and me it is NOT FAIRtu put solo with group because they cn t compete with the number votes for group can you imagine competing with someone receiving votes 4 times more it is ridicilus that is how they were number one the first week they admittet their mum bought all copies something has to change or it would nt be a competition anymore
