X Factor 2011: James Michael & Emma Wright impress the judges
James Michael and Emma Wright were briefly featured on tonight’s X Factor show, and thankfully for them, they weren’t among the rubbish joke acts.
Both performers impressed the judges with their auditions pieces, and both won a place in the London bootcamp stage.
James took to the stage first and sang Adele’s popular song ‘Make You Feel My Love.’
Afterwards Gary Barlow raved:
Amazing voice! Totally unique! I think you’re a recording artist waiting to be recorded! Well done, yes from me!
Tulisa Contostavlos added:
I loved it, I thought that was a wicked audition, it’s a yes from me.
Emma, 19, Blackpool also sang her way to succubus, when she performed Christina Aguilera’s Ain’t No Other Man.
After her song, N-Dubz’s Tulisa enthused:
It was a brilliant audition, you have amazing potential, you’re a little pop star, I’m going to say yes.
Did you enjoy the auditions? Both singers won themselves a place in London bootcamp. To find out if they went any further in the competition, check out our list of some of the acts that have made judges houses here.
