X Factor 2011: Janet Devlin becomes bookies favourite to win!

Janet Devlin may have just been announced as a judges houses contestant, but bookies already think she may be a sure thing to win the entire X Factor series this December.
The 16 year old Northern Irish girl has yet to put one foot wrong in the competition, after wowing the judges and audience alike at her initial audition and then again at every stage of bootcamp last month.
She recently jetted out to Miami, to perform again for Kelly Rowland and Jennifer Hudson at judges houses and it will be revealed this Sunday whether or not she did enough to make the live shows.
Bookmakers seem to think she has and William Hill have revealed that they have already taken a “four-figure” bet on the talented teen to become Matt Cardle’s successor.
They are currently offering odds of 11/4, on Janet winning the ITV show outright this Christmas.
A spokesperson for William Hill said in a statement:
“After Boot Camp last year, we saw a number of four-figure bets for Matt Cardle, which propelled him to the top of the betting, where he stayed until he won the show.
“The omens certainly bode well for Janet.”
It has been claimed that Janet Devlin shone just as brightly at judges houses as she has before, after impressing Kelly and Jennifer with a slowed down version of a popular and well known song.
However, some sources claim the young singer did consider leaving the show altogether, as she was suffering so badly from nerves.

i can never get used to her yodelling
She wont win! Matt is the exception to the rule! Only Matt has been favourite at this point and gone on to win! For example both Diana and Danyl were the favourites at this point in their years and they both finished 4th! Never even made the final! She will go far in the lives but I see her finishing 4th/3rd tbh!
However she is in my top 3 contestants atm!
I kin of agree with Ant, I mean, she would need to be a bit more salty. I do bet on Jade Richards to win. I think the UK needs a rock chick to win the show. I would love to see Frankie get sacked because he is just a bit revolting…
I don’t think she’ll win either, for me up to now its between the groups and Ameila.
Nahh the groups will never ever win… simply because all the groups suck big time! In the end Joe Cox will win and all these discutions will worth nothing. lol
the bookies fav..she just a poor copy of Diane Vickers..really gets on my nerves when she keeps taking that grasp of breath…and if thats not bad enough yes the yodelling..no she cant win..mind you do tend to think it is more than ever this year the fixed factor not the X
who cares if she acts like diana vickers? why do you care about her so much? ergh, gtfu and focus on this years x factor.
