X Factor 2011: Jesy Nelson, Perrie Edwards, Jade Thirwell and Leigh-Anne Pinnock make up new girl group

The X Factor judges are well known for forming their own groups when they don’t find enough talented ones at auditions and after making a record six bands at bootcamp, at the final stage before judges houses, they formed yet another.

The scenes were aired on tonight’s episode, and after eliminating three of their manufactured groups following their performance at Wembley Arena, they decided to take two girls from one and two from another make up a seventh group.

Deliberating about the groups category, Kelly Rowland said:

“We need one more for the Group category, now…taking two out of this group and one out of here and putting these two together….”

Tulisa added:

“I think it’s a brilliant idea…we haven’t got that new, young, fresh girl group and you need that.”

After the panel made their choice and chatted about the fate of the singers, a producer fetched Jesy Nelson, Perrie Edwards, Jade Thirwell and Leigh-Anne Pinnock and brought them to the judges.

Rowland greeted them, saying:

“Hello ladies…you’re probably wondering what you’re doing up there, huh? We truly feel that the four of you could bring something very special to this competition…we think you guys could work together.”

Tulisa went on:

“I want you to take a moment, discuss between the four of you and then come back over and talk to us.”

Of course all four ladies accepted the offer and made their way on to judges houses with Tulisa and her helper, Jessie J.
