X Factor 2011: Marcus Collins rocks in neon pink jacket and shoes to ‘Higher And Higher’ (VIDEO)

Marcus Collins went uptempo once more on tonight’s X Factor live show.

The Scouse singer admitted earlier this week that he is most comfortable when he performs energetic songs, with a big production and a team of backing dancers and this evening he didn’t disappoint with his rendition of ‘Higher And Higher’, from Ghostbusters II.

He emerged on stage with a full gospel choir and looking completely the star in his neon pink jacket and shirt.

It was a real old style soul performance and we loved how Collins commanded the stage and brought his own energy to the performance.

He was a great closer for what has been one of the best X Factor episodes of the series, our only concern is that with all the old songs he’s singing, the hunky singer may find it hard to become a credible artist with any sort of identity after the competition.
