X Factor 2011: Misha B steals the show with ‘Born This Way’ (VIDEO)
Misha B promised that she would be giving a more ‘stripped back’ performance on tonight’s X Factor show, after judges responded so positively to her upbeat routine and softer look on last week’s show.
The Mancunian singer was said to be upset about one act returning to the series this evening, however she looked positively glowing when she took to the stage, to perform on the Lady Gaga vs Queen themed episode.
Tonight Misha took on Gaga’s ‘Born This Way’, which originall reached number 13 in the UK singles chart earlier this year.
She made Kitty Brucknell cry with her song choice, as the former Gaga impersonator wanted to sing the track, however we think Misha made a marvelous job of her version and we loved that it was a calmer performance than we are used to from the wannabe.
She worked the stage wonderfully as always, but appeared more normal and approachable than she usually does. Our only criticism? The style team made her look about 40 years old!

LOUIS WALSH: Misha every week I look forward to your performance because you always bring something new.
TULISA CONTOSTAVLOS: What an amazing rendition of that song. It was all about the vocal tonight and it reminded me that you are one of the strongest vocalists in this competition. It really did sound amazing.
GARY BARLOW: You are truly a class act, it was great to watch you tonight, brilliant vocals again. I see you around the house and a lot of the other contestants are sleeping but you are always researching what you’re going to do next. Great attitude, well done tonight!
KELLY ROWLAND: Misha I am very proud of you!

i didnt like her performance at all. Amelia stole the show with the best performance of the night, can see diva strops from miss b soon. my advice…misha b sit doon hen
Megz, just shut up and stop your hatred on Misha right now! You are a a jealous idiot who doesn’t know talent when it slaps your face. Misha is a class act, and you know what, this is the reason why there not many international singers from x factor because people like you megz do not vote for talent but instead you go for age, size, colour, shape. Misha is brilliant end off. She does not deserve all the criticism you are giving her. Someone last week even wished Misha to die, how cruel? Leave the girl alone!
No-one can argue that Misha has a fantastic vocal ability but her performance on this song was way below par. Bad adaptation of the song which did not suit her vocal style at all and thus she fell way short of the mark.
It is good, but not as brilliant as what the judges said.
Jealousy is an ugly thing so never do it. MISHA B ALL THE WAY. And Amelia too. KELLY U GOT THE WINNERS BABY. Request Down for whatever on radios. Kelly Rowland all the way.
