Just days after appearing on The X Factor USA, Rihanna rocked up on the UK version last night, to give a performance of her new Calvin Harris collaboration ‘We Found Love’.

The Barbadian singer was at the centre of a furore when she performed on the series last year, after her raunchy routine and skimpy costume caused thousands of viewers to lodge complaints with OFCOM and ITV.

Last night she definitely toned things down and was pretty well covered in her school girl like red tartan dress (get all the details on the gown here) however she did bring a bit of attitude to the stage and eagle eyed viewers spotted that she had the phrase ‘F*ck Off’ emblazoned on her shoes.

We wonder if that was a message to viewers or the authorities?

It was an energy filled performance, as Rihanna turned the stage into one big dance party! She routined with scores of backing dancers, was surrounded by lights, explosions, and giant props filled her set, although we’re pretty sure that she wasn’t singing live which was a shame.

The only thing missing? Calvin Harris. But then after that pineapple Jedward incident a few years ago, he has been banned from the show for life!
