X Factor 2011: Simon Cowell to book Katie Price as new judge?
Simon Cowell is currently considering his options for the next X Factor panel and one name that has entered the frame, is that of reality TV star Katie Price.
The mum of three is never far from the headlines as she lurches from one publicity stunt to the next and apparently Simon thinks that the ITV series could benefit from that sort of exposure.
“Do I want Jordan as a judge on The X Factor panel? Yeah, that could work,” he said in an interview with The Daily Star.
“Why not? I like her as a person. In fact I’d even go as far as to say she’s my woman of the decade.”
Simon’s right hand woman and ex girlfriend Sinitta also backed Katie as a judge saying:
“Having Jordan on the panel would make interesting viewing, so I can definitely see it working. She can do anything she puts her mind to. She’s got the personality that would fit the role perfectly. Simon really likes her as well. There’s no denying they get along.”
Sinitta also admitted that Simon has only just grudgingly accepted that he can’t star in both the UK and US versio of The X Factr this year. She explained:
“People have said he’ll fly backwards and forwards and do both. But he’s not just a judge, he’s also a mentor. That means he needs to stay in just one place. It’s possible Simon will miss the UK version for a year and come back once the US one is settled in.”
If Katie Price does join the panel, she is likely to sit alonsgide Louis Walsh and Dannii Minogue, though Take That’s Robbie Williams is also rumoured to have signed up.

Sounds like a match made in heaven. Like the show, Jordan is completely false, self-obsessed, and lacking in genuine talent.

I think it could work-youve got to cut her a bit of slack, a lot of the public are interested in what she does otherwise there time wouldnt be wasted in reading about her.she might not be a singer but she would deffinatley know talent when she sees it! wouldnt anybody? its not rocket science :/ what the hell has everybody got against her for cyrin out loud! she is no more bloody annoying than every other celebrity to walk this earth, people should just chill out and leave her be, she isnnt doing any harm.

YH WHOO Katie price is awesome and shes soooo pretty,Pete is just full of jelousey and Elen rivas is kl and she seems like a really sweet person,Katies happy for them and so are other people and as long as there kids are comfortable and safe and there new partners are trustworthy WHATS THE PROBLEM !!!!!!
