X Factor 2011: Singers like Sophie Habibis make Gary Barlow hopeful for girls category!
Sophie Habibis will make her X Factor debuit on tonight’s show and her audition blows the judges away.
The 19 year old singer, from London took to the stage in London’s O2 Arena and gave an accomplished rendition of Halo, by Beyonce.
After admitting that her only real experience of singing, is when she does karaoke at the bar she works in, Gary Barlow admitted that she and a few other female singers had stood out massively for him over the day.
The Take That star added:
“We haven’t just got good singers in the Girls category we have actually got a lot of artists; it’s going to be fierce.”
Tulisa Contostavlos told her: “I think you’ve been stuck in that pub for too long, Sophie you’d better be ready for some hard work, I’m going to say yes.
Kelly Rowland added:
“Sophie I see something here and I would love to be a part of it. A part of growing and watching you grow would be really intriguing. I’m going to say yes.”
Lucky for Kelly, she later landed the girls category for the live shows and last week recorded her judges house stage. Check out who the Destinys Child star brought to judges houses here and some of the acts that have already made the final 16 here.
