X Factor 2011 Spoilers: Week 5 theme revealed – Club Classics!
It was revealed on tonight’s Xtra Factor show that this week’s X Factor theme has already been chosen.
Normally we don’t find out until mid week what theme the contestants will have to follow with their song choices, but this evening, Olly Murs and Caroline Flack admitted that the next X Factor live show will feature songs that can be described as ‘club classics.’
As an example of what sort of tracks we can expect to hear, the team played Dreamer by Livin Joy, Take That and Party (of course by the hunkiest boyband that ever walked the planet) and YMCA….which we’re hoping was just for Louis Walsh’ benefit.
After the announcement was made, Gary Barlow admitted:
You know what I love club classics! I am very excited!
However Frankie Cocozza wasn’t so chuffed and when asked if he was excited about the new theme, he admitted:
Not really, but I think I’ll give it my best…bust a move in there maybe.
The Club Classics theme was used back in 2010 and we bet you all remember Rebecca Ferguson’s rendition of ‘Show Me Love.’ You may not however recall that One Direction performed Chasing Cars by Snow Patrol, which we’re pretty sure has never been played in any club we have ever danced in.
Check out the full 2010 song list here and leave your comments below, telling us what you’d like to hear the final 9 acts sing on Saturday.

wish sophie could sing a dance song and wow us like rebecca did last year.
There is actually an awesome club mix of chasing cars. As a correction to ur article.
Frankie to go.. Gutted about the bottom two tonight!
Yes. Its is so wrong. But vote for who you like. Forces the cheapos out there to cough up a pound or shut it
Frankie’s cute, and he deserves a chance! He’s a wanna-be but, he’s trying but, he’s being his self is that so wrong? He will learn in time to cool it down a bit but, for now he’s just enjoying it and too right! I’m studying a-level law and i might be only 17 but, i’m trying to make something out of my life and that’s all Frankie is trying to do is that so bad? Gooooood luck FRANKIEEEE hope youu go all the way
xxxxx
So, you’re the one. Guys, on him/her!
Ok in my opinion is that Frankies worse Wagner and Jedward and i think his times ran out these week because i cant see anyone else going home apart from him these week if some else does go home its a travisty that my opinion

The only reason he is still there is because he showed his bum and girls liked it. other than that he is arrogant, rude and should be very ashamed of himself, oh yea and he CAN NOT SING!
Cowell tells me that in addition to himself and Antonio L.A. Reid the chairman of Island Def Jam Music Group who resigned to join The X Factor panel on Fox and about whom Simon said was my No. When I asked Simon about this Cole woman who began judging on the 5th season of Cowells British version of The X Factor which is now in its 8th season he laughed at my description of her. And with Cheryl when I hired her initially Id only met her literally once when I offered her the job on British X Factor.
Little Mix could probably do a nice cover of We Found Love, I can imagine Perrie doing it justice.
These i what i wanr each contestant to sing
The Risk- My Head Jason Derulo
LittleMix-Tonight Neyo
Misha- You got the love florence and the machines
Janet- Fireflies Owlcity
Frankie-Hey ya outcast
Marcus- Dj got us falling in love again Usher
Craig- Shine a Light Mcfly feat Taio Cruz
Kitty- Born this way Lady gaga
Johnny- Last Fridy Night Katie Perry
I believe One Direction sang “Only Girl In The World” for Club Classic. They Sand “Chasing Cars” for the “Get Me To The Finals” week. Get Your facts right!
Johnny has a Jimmy Somerville voice (a rare thing) so what about ‘Could It Be Love’ by Jimmy Somerville as a club classic. It shouldn’t matter that Tulisa is too young to know who Somerville is!
Why should Frankie be given a chance just because he’s cute (although I’d strongly disagree with that claim). He can’t sing and shouldn’t be in the competition. Yes, worse than Jedward or Wagner and he lacks the likability of the Irish boys.
i think xfactor should have a glee week where wach contestant should sing a song by glee
The Risk – No Air-Jordin Sparks feat Chris Brown or Billionaire-Travis MCcoy feat Bruno Mars
LittleMix – Take a Bow – Rihanna
Marcus- Marry You-Bruno Mars
Frankie -Jessies Girl
Craig-Hey Soul Sister-Train
Johnny-Leaving on a Jet plain- Peter, Paul and Mary
Kitty Brucknell-Telephone- Lady gaga feat Beyonce
Janet-Only exception-Paramore
MishaB-BootyLicious-Destinys Cild
If Sophie was still in, she’d have done incredibly and wowed us with a really awesome classic.
I HATE FRANKIE!!!!!
Gary is the biggest star on the X factor panel and in order to secure him for the position, he had to be guaranteed a win. So watch as Craig pouts and struts his way to the xmas number 1 only to be never heard of again.
He is Michelle McManus and Joe McEldery thrown into one and we all know what great successes they turned out to be.
The Risk are singing Forever by Chris Brown
craig is where he is because of talent not cos of his mentor and he will b more tahn a 1 hit wonder so leave ur jealoust aside and give praise were it is due he is amazing
I love frankie. Hes beautiful and is an amazung singer its just a different style. He doest want to be your common x factor lad wbo has acheived nothing he wants to be a rocker and i personally wish him all the best. GO FRANKIE!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Iloveyou
