X Factor 2012: Bosses issue stark warnings and booze ban as another bootcamp party gets out of hand!
Another year, another story about a crazy X Factor bootcamp party gone wrong!
It has been claimed in today’s newspapers that bosses of the ITV reality TV show have once again been forced to issue a stark warning to hopeful contestants who attended bootcamp last week, after a number of them got blindingly drunk and caused havoc in their Liverpool hotel.
The contestants were staying at the city’s Holiday Inn Express and travelling to Echo Arena for auditions and sessions with the judges each day. However, the evenings were a different matter and insiders say some of the singers – many who had never been away from home before – took full advantage of the hotel bar and surrounding clubs.
“There had been some long days filming and they obviously wanted to let their hair down, particularly as some of them would be going home after Boot Camp but when producers found out, they said it was not on – and told them they had to buck up their ideas.”
We suppose that bosses have had to learn their lesson, after the Frankie Cocozza debacle of 2011, when they encouraged the hopefuls to party hard and then were forced to eliminate the finalist from the competition when he took things too far and made no secret of his illegal drug use and shagathons.
The X Factor will return to our screens next month, Are you excited? Leave your comments below….

Here we go again more drama and conversitry this is the x factor folks druken wannabes wannabes on drugs whats new
Surely the quality of the people who go in for these Auditions should be checked up on???. If I had a great gift, I would not even touch the drink, just want to get to the top of my Profession and earn lots of money as well, by being the best I can, and stay cool and professional!!
Just to let you know that I was at that party as one of the groups mum I managed to get in without being checked as so did reporters and paps, X factor really protected them!!!!! some of these contestants were held in a room for 14 hours before going on stage and performing, they were used like cattle, it was discracefull!! as for all of them being wild a drunk and snogging and drugs its just a pack of lies made up by the paps, these guys were just unwinding from a long and stessfull day and night and did not have the energy to party all night long, so the above comments are a little unfair concidering you were not there!!! most of the contestants were just having a drink and unwinding which is normal!! and to the above what do you mean checked up on, they are not criminals!!! most of the contestants are decent people with huge talant!!
Do you know that they had almost 200 people on the first day of bootcamp, they had them in that day just for filming then with out any audition they line them up and told them that they will go home. This people all travel from all over , as far as Germaney , why they let them come? They could e-mail this people and tell them that they have not made it in to the bootcamp . Xfactor play with people felling and emotions just to make money and silly program for some sad people. I think that we all should turn our Tv off when this program is on , do not give it rating
Germaney ?????????
Xfactor play with people felling and emotions ?????????
The treatment of these young adults is beyond belief , to spend weeks preparing , rehearsing ,taking a week off work or college, spending many £££ on hair , beauty and clothes and to get their hopes built up to a peak….Then to say righto….80 of you get yourselves away home ( without singing a single note )is nothing short of disgusting , im appalled.
I personally witnessed the treatment of cattle penning auditionees , mass rejection and then boot camp bootings….horrendous.
