X Factor 2012: Bosses won’t announce new judge until after bootcamp – Anastacia to get a turn?
In just over a week we have seen four guest judges working with the permanent panel members on The X Factor and that could be the way of things to come for all the auditions this year it has been reported.
It has been claimed that behind the scenes of the ITV show, plans are constantly being made and changed and things are in a state of chaos, as bosses didn’t make contingency plans on the off chance that Dannii Minogue would turn down her offer to return for the 2012 series.
Kelly Rowland announced her decision to leave the panel in April and it has been reported that bosses immediately approached the Australian star about making a comeback to the TV talent series. They had supposedly fully expected her to accept the role, however it is claimed that she let them down at the last minute, forcing them to find a whole host of female stand ins.
So far we have seen Geri Halliwell, Leona Lewis, Rita Ora and old faithful Nicole Scherzinger taking a seat beside Gary Barlow, Tulisa and Louis Walsh and Dan Wootton of The Daily Mail reports today that this pattern will continue throughout all the tryouts this month.
He claims that bosses will not announce their new panelist until after the bootcamp stage next month.
Mel B is reportedly joining the judges in Manchester next week, while Dan reports that American singer Anastacia is also being considered for an appearance. The blonde singer is viewed as a dark horse because of her ‘gutsy attitude’. ‘Simon would like an American back on the panel as well,’ a source explained.
Anastacia has judging experience, as in 2010 she became one of the main judges on talent series Don’t Stop Believing, a contest inspired by the musical comedy-drama Glee.
ITV are reportedly keen to offer the spot to Nicole Scherzinger for the 2012 series, however Simon Cowell is said to be less keen, having worked with and then sacked the brunette beauty from the X Factor USA earlier this year.
Who would you like to see replacing Kelly Rowland on The X Factor? Have any of the guest judges impressed you so far? Leave your comments below….

ANASTACIA would be fab!! This needs to happen. I love her and just in time for her new album coming out this year, in addition to her new song ‘A Deeper Love’

ANASTACIA!!!!!!!!!!
ANASTACIA!! please!! i’d love to see her on X-FACTOR!
Got to be ANASTACIA because with her you have a mixed bag. She is straight talking but with a kindness and understanding for the contestants because the little lady has been in the same place herself at the start of her own carer. But saying that i think because she knows how this game is then she will be a very honest judge and say if she thinks they wont make it in the business! And if she is allowed to be herself then everyone would be in for a treat. But trust me she is by know way a push over and would have no problem handling any of the other judges!
Anastacia, of course!!! xD
Without a doubt Anastacia, she is awesome and we her fan-I’ll love her.. We care for it. She would be superb x x
ANASTACIA!!!!!!!
There have to be ANASTACIA… as she shows her great potencial as a judges in Dont stop believing I think it is great to have her in X-Factor…
It has to be Anastacia as judge on 2012 X-Factor, she would be brilliant. She’s a superb singer with loads of talent herself. She’s a superb vocalist (Wow! what a set off lugs & a stunner too) A great artist, with her expert advise on hand, how can they not give her the job? Plus…..I’d love to see Simons face with this blonde beauty next to him on the panel to challenge up to, the way he did with poor Nicole Scherzinger. I reckon she would be more than a match for him….. which he needs most of the time.
