Xtra Factor co-host Caroline Flack has revealed today that there are two of this year’s X Factor hopefuls who are almost guaranteed to make her cry, before they’ve even sung!

Those two heart string tuggers are Ella Henderson and James Arthur, who both of course have sailed through the auditions and Boot Camp rounds, and who we hope will do likewise at Judges’ Houses.

Of Ella, who of course sang a self-penned heart wrenching track at her audition, which she dedicated to her late granddad, Caroline told Bang Showbiz, “Even when Ella Henderson talks to me, she makes me cry, it’s not just when she sings. She’s so emotional.

“When I’ve finished interviewing her I’m always like, ‘I’m going to have to have a moment on my own for a minute.’”

She went on to say of James, “There were some performances at Judges’ Houses that really made me cry. James Arthur is so good…

“When he sings, it gets you there. When he sings, it’s almost like you want to fix him a little bit.

“I’ve never had that before with an ‘X Factor’ contestant.

Caroline made her remarks while attending The Arthur’s Day celebrations, which also featured a special performance by Wretch32 from a balcony at Senate House, as well as performances by VV Brown, Razorlight and Sir Tom Jones.
