X Factor 2012: Carolynne Poole doesn’t want to work with Louis Walsh again – talks IVF and marriage breakdown…
The 31 year old singer made it as far as the Irish star’s judges houses last year, before being binned by Louis and on last night’s show she was seen making her big comeback, as she sang Emeli Sande’s ‘Clown’ for the judges.
The brunette beauty sailed through to bootcamp once more and Gary Barlow raved:
“Carolynne you have an amazing voice, you have an amazing look, I think the overs category is going to be incredible, and I think you are the dark horse of the competition right now, I really do.”
Speaking to The Sun Poole revealed that while she was elated to get past the judges auditions once more, she didn’t want to be mentored by Walsh again. She explained:
“I wasn’t ‘out there’ enough for him. He didn’t pick singers.”
“I was hoping I wouldn’t get Louis again.”
Luckily, Gary Barlow is working with the overs this year and so if Carolynne did make it to judges houses for the second time, she would have worked with the Take That star, who at least knows a good singer when he hears them.
Poole also opened up about her personal life during her interview and spoke again about her failed IVF attempt last year and her marriage breakdown.
The singer married professional footballer David Poole in 2008 but the pair split a few months ago.
“I miscarried after nine weeks during our second go with IVF and that is when me and David re-assessed our lives and we decided to split. I made a new plan and that is The X Factor.
“It hurt my pride to go back.
“I felt like I had failed everything that year. I failed my IVF, Louis had given me the boot. I wanted to go back to bed and never get up.”
Carolynne took to Twitter last night to thank her fans and followers for their very positive reaction to her new audition. She tweeted:
‘❤thank u all soooo much for your tweets & general loveliness tonight! You’re all amazing and have made me so happy! Thank you! Xxx’
