X Factor 2012: Conor Maynard thinks Rylan Clark could release UK Gangnam Style! (VIDEO)
Conor Maynard thinks that Louis Walsh was right to save Rylan Clark on The X Factor on Sunday night.
The teen idol made an appearance on The Xtra Factor and showed his support for the controversial singer, who had just won a place in next week’s show to the detriment of country singer Carolynne Poole who was subsequently eliminated.
The “Can’t Say No” hitmaker loved Poole and was ‘sad’ that she’d been sent home, however he thinks Rylan has huge potential and a big career ahead….in fact he thinks he could be the man to create the UK version of the hit viral song ‘Gangnam Style.’
Conor said:
“I think Carolynne was extremely talented and it’s sad that she went but Rylan is one of those artists that could release one of the biggest mega smashers ever.”
Maynard added:
“If anyone is going to make the British Gangnam Style, it will be him.”
Watch the video below and tell us, can you see Rylan doing that?
Meanwhile, it seems that former show star Amelia Lily is also a fan of the former model.
Speaking after Katie Price’s protege found himself in the sing off with Carolynne, she admitted that she sympathised with Clark, explaining:
“I’ve been in that position and I’ve been in the bottom two and Rylan God bless you, I’m so proud of you and it’s hard to stand up there.”
The ‘You Bring Me Joy’ hitmaker added:
“I’m a massive fan of country music. I met Carolynne last year on the show and she is such a superstar, however Rylan is such an entertainer so it’s hard for me to say [who should have gone].”
What do you think of the star’s comments? Would you predict a bright and shiny future for Rylan after the show? Leave your comments below…..
