X Factor 2012: District 3 aren’t upset with Union J or indecisive Louis Walsh!
District 3 have revealed that they weren’t surprised to leave the X Factor on Sunday night.
The boyband were eliminated from the ITV show after finding themselves in a singoff with their fellow team Louis Walsh group Union J and they’ve admitted that they probably did split the vote, causing them both to be in the bottom two.
Speaking to This Morning they said:
“It was always going to be tough when there was two boybands and that is probably what put both of us in the bottom two.”
It was reported that there was a lot of tension and rivalry between the two bands while they were both in the competition but District 3 have insisted that they don’t bear any grudges towards their pals and explained:
“Good luck to the guys, I hope they do really well!
They are really good guys and we are supporting them.”
On Sunday’s show, when Louis found out that he was going to have to choose between two of his own acts he refused to cast his vote.
Dermot O’Leary didn’t press him and the trio left after Gary Barlow and Nicole Scherzinger backed Union J, while Tulisa revealed she would have voted for the vocal harmony group.
The band say they aren’t upset with Lou Lou, though they admit that things could have been different if he had saved them and sent the show to deadlock. They continued:
“We really respected him for doing that, we said afterwards ‘thank you so much for doing that, it was a really nice thing to do.”
“After Tulisa said she would have saved us, who knows what would have happened, everyone will always wonder that but we really do respect Louis.”
