Duke bring the beatboxing to X Factor bootcamp with ‘Kiss From A Rose’(VIDEO)
It’s been a good week for groups on the X Factor and after being treated to a brilliant performance by Times Red on last night’s show, this evening another boyband had their chance to shine on the ITV series.
Duke brought something very fresh to the stage when they tried out in London earlier this year, and mixed singing, beat boxing and rapping all into their tryout song.
It was such a different audition and Gary Barlow clapped along as they delivered the most changed up version of Seal’s Kiss From A Rose we have ever heard.
JUDGES COMMENTS:
Gary: Guys I have got to tell you, that was off the chart. It was incredible. Four yeses, amazing, well done!
Tulisa: I didn’t know what i was looking for today until you guys came on the stage.

I have known these guys for years and they have always been seriously freaking good, so so glad to see them heading places
DUKE were awesome! just goes to show you that if they had ditched their manager a long while back they would probably be playing bigger venues that dingey pubs on a saturday night!!
I saw Duke in a Cheltenham bar about 3 years ago and thought they were the best live pub band I’d ever seen. They played ‘Kiss From a Rose’ that night as well, and their Tritter account says that they were playing a Cheltenham pub last night. They could probably have appeared on X-Factor 3 years ago and still would have stolen the show!
these guys are awsome! met them at the big reunion 09, LEFT ALL OF US SPEECHLESS!! they really deserve to be going places! good luck duke!!
DUKE are incredible – the beatboxer is beyond! They are surely in it to win it? Gary clearly thinks so!
Anyone wanting to place a bet on Duke winning X-Factor should do so now. William Hill currently give them 80-1 odds, though will only allow a maximum of £12.50 to be placed. Still – that’s £1000 if they win!
