X Factor 2012 Final 12: GMD3 ‘We deserve a place on the live shows’
GMD3 have admitted that they struggled to cope with the pressure of their bootcamp experience, but they think that now, they’re stronger and deserving of a place in the X Factor final 12.
Greg 18, Mickey 18, Dan 19 from Windsor; Mitsotu: James 22, Holly 22 and Jimmy 23 from Harrow/Kent were forced to sing against fellow boyband Triple J on two occasions before making it through to judges houses and on last night’s show, the band was seen delivering a pretty amazing rendition of God Bless the Broken Road by Rascal Flatts for Louis Walsh and Sharon Osbourne.
Greg said that the ups and downs of the competition so far have just made them ‘stronger’ and explained:
“The pressure from bootcamp was very hard and difficult but as people we have developed and I believe gotten stronger. We are best mates, we have lived together….we are our only mates.”
Tonight, Louis Walsh will be seen choosing his final three groups who will go onto the live shows. Before they discovered their fate the boys admitted that they knew they had some tough competition saying:
“We are confident in ourselves but we’re not confident about getting through. Everyone is ridiculously amazing. You don’t get an opportunity like this every day.”
However, they think they deserve it more than most, adding:
“We have wanted this for such a long time now. I think the most important thing is to make sure we deliver. We deserve a place on the live shows and to continue in the competition.”
