The X Factor final is but six days away and we know who the finalists will be singing with!
The names in the mix so far have included stars such as Adele and Beyonce and insiders claimed that The Killers and even Jane McDonald were being lined up by bosses to join the last remaining contestants on the stage.
Well scrub all that because it seems there will be no one new on the show next weekend.
We already know that Emeli Sande and One Direction will be performing over the two night finale, which will be staged in Manchester Central but apparently they won’t be singing with any of the three acts.
Instead Jahmene Douglas, James Arthur and Christopher Maloney will each be taking to the stage with…….their mentors.
Olly Murs just revealed:
“Jahmene and James will be duetting with Nicole and Christopher will be duetting with Gary Barlow.”
So a carbon copy of last year’s final then.
In 2011 Tulisa Contostavlos sang with Little Mix, Kelly Rowland performed with Amelia Lily and Gary Barlow crooned a Stevie Wonder song with Marcus Collins.
We enjoyed the performances immensely at the time but we have to admit, we would have liked to see some real star power on the show this Saturday and Sunday and we would have expected Simon Cowell to have pulled in some major industry names, as a way of boosting ratings if nothing else.
What do you think of the news? What songs would you like to see Nicole and Gary sing with their hopefuls?
We want to hear from you in the comments section below!
