X Factor 2012: First live show ‘Heroes’ Olympic song list revealed

Earlier this week a song list for tonight’s live X Factor show was leaked online, but it seems that the person behind the so called spoilers got at least some (if not all) of the tracks wrong.

The ITV series launches it’s live rounds this evening, with all twelve final acts taking to the stage and performing for the studio audience, the judges and millions of people at home for the first time.

During the LONG show – which will last for a whopping two hours and twenty minutes – as well as performances from the contestants, we will also be treated to some One Direction time, as the boys return to the show to mentor the hopefuls backstage and the comeback of a thirteenth contestant, who wins the wildcard vote that has been taking place all week.

It has been reported in today’s newspapers that the first show will have an Olympic theme and will feature appearances from Olympic champions Lizzie Armitstead, Laura Trott, Dani King and Joanna Rowsell.

A source told The Sun: “Simon promised an Olympic night and he’s delivered. The Heroes’ show is all about celebrating the Olympics and the British summer of sport.

“It’s a feelgood show and we hope people will get a buzz from it.”

The contestant’s songs will fit with the theme and after hearing all the singers perform, the public will once again have their say, voting for their favourites, before one act is eliminated tomorrow night.

Check out the songs that have been confirmed so far below and check back throughout the day, as we will add to the list as news comes in.

  1. Dan Carney says:

Carolynne could sing Winner by the Pet shop boys

  2. Sean Bassett says:

I’m sorry, but why did you say the song list had been confirmed in the Gary Barlow Chris Maloney article when it clearly hasn’t?

One song confirmation for one contestant is hardly what I call a confirmed song list.
