ITV have released their first official picture of this year’s final X Factor judging lineup.

Executives confirmed last week that Pussycat Dolls star Nicole Scherzinger would be the fourth panelist for the 2012 series, which many found more than a little strange as the brunette beauty had been sacked by show boss Simon Cowell from his US version of the talent show in January of this year.

While Nicole might not be interesting or funny enough for American audiences, it seems that us Brits like her just fine and today, the singer and actress took her seat as a permanent X Factor judge for the first time in Newcastle.

The stunning star was modelling a beautiful jade green on shoulder dress for the occasion, which had an almost Grecian feel, as it was teamed with a thick gold belt.

Tulisa may have been recently named the ‘World’s Sexiest Woman’ but we can’t help but think she pales in comparison to Nicole’s perfection.

The N-Dubz star looked pretty all the same and we quite liked her pastel striped strapless dress…

Scherzinger of course is used to the X Factor and it’s audition process, having guest judged in London just a few weeks ago, acted as a permanent judge in America last year and let’s not forget when she filled in for Cheryl Cole and Dannii Minogue back in 2010.

She won’t be too taxed for the next few weeks either, as after today’s tryouts, the last full judges auditions will take place on 25th June in Cardiff…then the stars will be off to bootcamp next month.
