X Factor 2012: Gary Barlow and ‘scared’ Louis Walsh shake hands and make up after Rylan Clark drama!
We were hoping there would be a bit of slapping, or at least some slinging of insults on tonight’s X Factor show but actually, when it started, the judges were all being very amiable to one another.
In the VT at the start of the episode, Gary Barlow looked like he was still furious with Louis Walsh over the whole Rylan Clark debacle and he ranted:
“I’ll be honest I’m having trouble looking at Louis at the moment, never mind talking to him.”
Louis confirmed the tension saying:
“The competition is seriously on with the four judges. We all want to win.”
Walsh later explained to presenter Dermot O’Leary that he messed up on last week’s episode, because he was simply ‘scared’. He said:
“I just couldn’t make up my mind Dermot. Carolynne was the better singer, Rylan is a great entertainer, I couldn’t make up my mind. It was live TV, I was rabbit in the headlights. I was scared, scared, scared, scared.”
Maybe Gary felt sorry for him, or maybe he was ordered to be nice by producers, but when Lou Lou stopped speaking, he offered an olive branch to the Irish star, saying:
“It’s a new day, Louis…shake hands?”
Awwww how sweet!
Rylan admitted earlier today that he was incredibly nervous about performing again and we get the feeling that Gary might nit be quite so forgiving of him.
However Nicole Scherzinger says her protege is ready for the fight and told O’Leary:
“He is in fighting form. It as a very emotional week but he is coming out fighting for sure.”

Gary Barlow was absolutely right to walk away in disgust. I could not believe that idiot Rylan got through over Carolynne. Tonights X factor also was just a “farce” to say the least when Melanie Masson was put out. As Gary rightly pointed out, she was the best singer in the competition. I am seriously disgusted, and shall definitely not be watching this again.
