X Factor 2012: Gary Barlow and Tulisa “put out” that Nicole Scherzinger is Simon & Louis’ favourite!
It’s been revealed in Closer magazine this week that there are some tensions brewing in The X Factor UK camp as judges Gary Barlow and Tulisa reportedly feel “a bit put out” that newbie Nicole Scherzinger seems to be both Simon Cowell and Louis Walsh’s favourite judge.
A show insider, who told the magazine that things between the judges are “frosty” right now, added, “Gary feels like he’s not Simon Cowell’s go-to guy any more as he’s texting Nicole all the time and Tulisa doesn’t seem happy either.
“Tulisa likes Nicole, but feels that she’s being made a fuss of.
“And she isn’t thrilled about how close her and Louis have become, as him and Tulisa were pally on the show last year.”
However, Tuilsa recently denied that there were any issues between herself and Nicole, tweeting, “We get on fine! Just coz we r different doesnt mean we dont like each other!”
An X Factor spokesman also denied there was any friction, saying, “There’s no tension on the judging panel.
“They’re all getting along brilliantly and are excited for the upcoming series.”
However, Closer adds, “But our spies say tension is brewing as Louis, 59, ‘has a soft spot’ for the ex-Pussycat Doll, who was recently rocked by reports that boyfriend, F1 driver Lewis Hamilton, 27, partied with 10 girls in a London hotel last month.”
The insider added, “The producers and Louis made a huge fuss of Nicole when she arrived on set.
“Tulisa felt a bit left out as Louis seemed to be giving Nicole more attention.”
And of Gary being angry that Simon favours Nicole, the source said, “He and Louis know Nicole is seen as the key to saving the show after ratings fell last year.
“But Gary was unhappy when he realised Simon was constantly in touch with Nicole, finding out how the judges were doing and how it was all going.
“He feels Simon’s getting Nicole to find out the gossip and that she’s taken his slot as the favourite judge.
“Nicole appears to be playing up to it. She’s getting on with it and seems happy to show she’s the biggest star.
“But it’s gearing up for a stormy series.”

I don’t like nicole and i think tulisa and gary are way better judges than she is. louis and simon just like her because she’s pretty but so is the worlds sexiest woman and they are obviosly blind if they can’t see that. nicole is just playing up to her new girl status and the novelty will soon wear off and tulisa and will be the favourite again.

this is actually beyond ridiculous. it’s ventured purely into the realm of hilarious. i mean, i like nicole well enough, and we’ll see how she turns out this year, but come on!
p.s. @dan.carney – where did gary say this himself? where do you see ANY quotes from any of the judges, or indeed, anyone with a name at all. everything’s quoted as being from closer magazine’s “inside source”…which, obviously, everybody knows means “we made this up”.

Why are people so easily swayed by articles like these. Clearly they’re just trying to draw up hype and tension because the live shows will be airing soon and they want viewers to tune in to see the so called “tension” between the judges etc. “Sources” the media always claims to have could easily be the journalists themselves – as a name is never mentioned as to who the source is. Seriously. If they wrote that aliens were invading, you would believe it?
Nicole quoted (about Tulisa) in next month’s Cosmopolitan which she’s on the cover of – “She’s a fun and cool chick. We’re all on the same team together. I love her a lot.” There ya go folks. Don’t believe all the hype people write about drama when it doesn’t even exist. They know drama sells, that’s why they make it up – and apparently a lot of you eat it up too.
