X Factor 2012: Gary Barlow & Caroline Flack drop hints about final 12 contestants but Nicole Scherzinger is back in Dubai!
The X Factor live shows will start in just a few weeks time and it seems that the final 12 contestants have began rehearsals.
Judges houses concluded earlier this month and Gary Barlow, Tulisa, Louis Walsh and Nicole Scherzinger each chose three acts each to go forward to the finals.
Caroline Flack revealed on Twitter this week that she’s started working with the hopefuls already and has been interviewing them about their hopes and their journey so far, for ITV2 spinoff show The Xtra Factor.
She tweeted:
“Off to interview secret people at a secret place. Shhhhh.”
We imagine that the big X Factor makeovers are well underway and by now, probably the closest family members of the contestants wouldn’t recognise them with their new hairstyles and outfits.
Gary Barlow seems to be happy with his category this year and after wokring with the young lads in 2011, this year he’s at the other end of the scale and mentoring the overs.
He tweeted: “Been routining with my X factor lovelies all afternoon. What a lovely bunch I have this year ! #tooexciting [sic]”
The Take That star is once again putting in extra effort and time with his singers too and he even had them over for dinner this week. The dad of three added:
‘Just had dinner with my #XFactor contestants.Not only talented singers but lovely people too #result’
However, as Gaz is hard at work with his contestants, Nicole Scherzinger is nowhere to be seen and is currently sunning herself in Dubai.
The American star hosted her judges houses stage there earlier this month and chose her final three boys for the live shows. Yesterday she revealed on Twitter that she had returned, posting:
‘From the airport…just landed in Dubai’
We hope she isn’t going to be another Kelly Rowland….more interested in her own career than in her acts!

Unlike the other judges Nicole still has a career and a very busy schedule. Plus, you don’t know about Louis and Tulisa’s whereabouts so why come after Nicole?? Pathetic.

jahmene douglas is through to the live shows and is in Nicoles group he is the favourite and is a class singer ive got a bad feeling he may end up not getting the coaching he needs like janet did last year when rowland couldnt give two hoots about her acts,nicole is not a good judge and she was terrible on the usa x factor last year

Nicole took her role on XF USA very seriously. If she has the wisdom to take a good break before jumping into the XF UK maelstrom she should be commended. Accusing Kelly of not caring for her acts is irresponsible, ignorant clap-trap. Nicole got her acts to very high placings, and is still in touch with them all.
Another source has predicted that Tulisa will be mentoring Jahmene. Now I wonder what stunning musical insight Tulisa could hand down to someone who has more talent in his toe-nail clippings than she could show even if her career lasted until 2112.

Don’t bring kelly into this, Gary Barlow was touring when they were doing x-factor auditions too. Plus she still has a relevant career and x factor was holding her back with their demanding schedule. She is releasing new music soon and landed a TV show in the states so she doesn’t need the x factor. On another note, her acts are the most successful post x factor go Amelia Lily and Misha B!
Yeah right… really popular!!! C’mon, she dropped the best one her cathegory last year: Jade Richards!
Yeah Gary was touring but he spent the MOST time with his acts, plus Marcus Collins is pretty popular as are Little Mix, so don’t insult people if you don’t know the details.
This is just lazy writing, the show hasn’t even started yet the anti Nicole stories are starting to come out of the wood work.
Also why is it that the press seem to turn on the American Judges.
Nicole has a regular job apart from xfactor, she has shows to do and that’s why she is in Dubai she was performing. Nicole is not one person who seats down and wait for the next job to come, she goes for it and that’s why she has been so successiful in what she does. Nicole is a money making machine and she uses her gorgeous self in a good and better way by performing at this shows that pay her handsomely. Nicole is beautiful and talented and she understands that and does work harder than any person I have come across. She knows that she doesn’t have much time before she settles down, I hope it’s not next year because I love to see her perform she is so gifted.
Nicole last year at the Xfactor USA, she did very well. I didn’t understand why people blamed her for not voting for Racheal Crow, if anything America failed to do that for not voting for her. Racheal was good up until the semis, her singing was not improving at all. By the way Nicole’s act was in the final 2. So don’t say that she doesn’t care about these contestants, she does she has been there and she understands what it means for them. Stop hating before you know the facts. If anything she was standing up to Simon on those live shows. Nicole is one tough girl don’t be fulled by her beauty, she can kick ass.

Nicole is a beautiful, talented woman. Never has a bad word to say about anyone. Just because Simon sacked Cheryl and asked Nicole to take over, all the Cheryl Tweedy fans are on her case. Nicole did not sack Cheryl Cole, Simon Cowell did because as we all know Cheryl is just not up to it. Beautiful yes but cannot sing and has absolutely no personality. In fact, Cheryl Cole was the reason I stopped watching X Factor as I was fed up of watching her and Simon making out on the programme. If Simon offered me a job because Cheryl had not worked out, I think most of us would accept it in a second. So stop picking on Nicole please.
