Tulisa Contostavlos is reportedly acting up quite a bit on the X Factor set.

The former N Dubz star is obviously feeling confident after she won last year’s series of the show and insiders say she was really throwing her weight around while taping the audition and bootcamp stages, acting as if she was Simon Cowell herself.

Tulisa sits alongside Gary Barlow, Louis Walsh and Nicole Scherzinger on the ITV panel and it seems that in her second year at the table, the blonde beauty has been getting a little bit up herself.

A source told Reveal magazine that Tulisa has been bossing staff around, showing up late and throwing tantrums when things don’t go her way. They added:

“Tulisa has always worn her heart on her sleeve, but lately she’s taken it too far. Behaviour which used to be indulged is wearing seriously thin now.”

The insider went on:

“You’d think she was Simon Cowell the way she throws her weight around.”

Tulisa’s fellow judges are said to have different reactions to her behaviour with Take That’s Gary trying to ignore her most of the time, and Louis Walsh encouraging her by laughing along.

The source continued:

“Gary Barlow tends to ignore her, and Louis Walsh finds the whole situation hilarious.”

Simon Cowell may not react quite as well, and the source said that the ‘Young’ hitmaker could find herself in a tricky situation if the public react against Tulisa’s diva strops when the series kicks off next Saturday night.

“Tulisa had better hope for good ratings, because if things don’t work out on this year’s show, there won’t be many people sticking up for her,” the source concluded.

We can kind of see why Tulisa would be feeling a little more confident this year.

She had a hit solo single with her first release ‘Young’, she won the ‘Sexiest Women of The Year’ award from FHM and she did win the X Factor last year and with a group, which is totally unheard of. Even her recent sex tape scandal did little to harm her image or fanbase.

We can’t wait to see how Contostavlos interacts with the rest of the panel – particularly Nicole – when the series returns next week. We think she’ll do a great job when mentoring the girls. Are you excited about the return of The X Factor?
