Gary Barlow has promised his fans that they have a treat coming if they are in the audience of his concert tonight.
The X Factor judge is in the middle of a solo tour and and tonight will take to the stage in the Manchester Apollo, for a gig which sold out in minutes last month.
He has been performing up and down the country over the last couple of weeks and already he’s been joined onstage by his bandmate Robbie Williams, comedian Peter Kay and one of his pals and fellow songwriters Eliot Kennedy.
It sounds like Gaz has another surprise up his sleeve for concert goers, as he just tweeted his followers saying:
“Next stop Manchester Apollo #gignight”
“For those of you coming to Manchester Apollo tonight, you’re in for a treat”
Since Take That originally hails from Manchester and the lads are mostly all living local to the area, we are hoping that they will have an impromptu reunion this evening.
Barlow revealed last week that he and his band are planning for a new album and tour next year and what better way to get in some practice and please their fans than performing together for a short set so close to Christmas?
Of course we could be totally wrong. All the X Factor crew are also in town and planning for the final which will be staged in Manchester Central on Saturday and there is always a chance that the dad of three may invite his last remaining contestant – Christopher Maloney – to join him on stage.
Even better, he may perform with Pussycat Doll’s star Nicole Scherzinger, which would be a world first as the pair have never sung together before.
She just tweeted:
“What’s up Manchester! So excited to be here for the @TheXFactor finals!”
Either way, we’ll be keeping a close watch on Twitter to see what Gary’s treat is and rest assured, we will bring you the news and video footage as soon as it comes in.
