X Factor 2012: Geri Halliwell offends Take That fans everywhere after The It Girls’ audition!
Geri Halliwell most likely will not be getting invited to Gary Barlow’s house for dinner any time soon, nor will she be able to look Howard Donald or Jason Orange in the eye if she meets them at a showbiz event in the near future.
The former Spice Girl blasted Take That when she was acting as a guest judge on the X Factor earlier this year and this evening, she was seen supporting a rubbish girl band just because they sang one of her songs and when Gary Barlow pointed out that they clearly could not sing, she hit back claiming that his bandmates couldn’t carry a tune either.
The It Girls took to the stage in Liverpool looking slightly too try hard in their themed red and black outfits and sang ‘Stop’ for Tulisa Contostavlos, Gary, Geri and Louis Walsh.
They weren’t much good to be honest but after she’d stopped dancing along and mouthing the words Geri said she thought they had ‘potential’, which just cemented out view that she knows nothing about singing, music or star quality at all.
Gary looked at Ginger Spice like she was losing the plot and acted as the voice of reason, telling the wannabes that they didn’t have a voice between them. We think he was still being too nice.
Halliwell couldn’t accept his point though and instead decided to divert attention away from the contestants and back to the judges, telling Gary that ‘not everybody in Take That could sing actually.’
She ignored Louis totally, when he told her that the Spice Girls weren’t known for their vocal talents either and continued with her rant adding:
“Two of your members could not f*ckin sing.”
Barlow wasn’t amused that she was clearly jibing at Jason Orange and Howard Donald and he hit back:
“Geri, don’t even go there!”
Unsurprisingly, when the judges finally got over their own squabbles and turned their attention back to The It Girls, they did not make bootcamp and were quickly sent packing from the contest.

geri was rubbish!!! i hated her! terrible judge. self obsessed and always trying to make the spotlight on her. god knows why – she has no star quality herself. she got into the spice girls as the 2nd worst singer (in a group full of mediocre singers) purely because she was gobby.
glad to see the back of her.
wait! you can’t possibly tell us that Mel C couldn’t sing when in fact she’s got a great voice and had a successful solo career, unlike the other girls in the group.
Well lets be honest Geri is hot for her age but she acts like she’s 15 years old. I don’t know what the hell she’s thinking because X-Factor is a pretty slick gig and she screwed it up by attacking Gary. Sure Take That isn’t very good and lets be honest without Barlow and Williams they are terrible. But the Spice Girls also were a 15 minutes of fame act that came and went just like all manufactured music products.
None of them outside of Geri really had any success musically to speak of honestly. Mel B had a duet with Bryan Adams and minor crap here and there. Geri had a hit with a cover song and some minor success with that album but in the end Barlow is still famous and achieving hits so…Geri is jealous and doesn’t know how to deal with it like an adult.
OMG,plz GERI don’t make me laugh,you have no room to talk you cannot sing,your the 1 who is seriousley deluded if you think you can.But how very childish and unproffesional of you to hurl jibes at Gary and the band,and hate to burst your bubble but where are the spice girls now,and I think it speaks for itself on who are the band with the best talent,and maybe if you engaged your brain before your mouth,then you wouldn’t of come across as a child,and the rest of the poor judges you could see that they were ashamed of your behavior.
