X Factor 2012 Girls: Ella Henderson, Amy Mottram, Jade Collins, Lucy Spraggan, Leanne Robinson and Jade Ellis through to judges houses!
On tonight’s X Factor bootcamp drew to a close and the panel were seen deliberating as they whittled down more than 70 contestants to just 24.
After all the hopefuls took to the stage and sang for a crowd of more than 5,000 people in Liverpool’s Echo Arena, the judges first chose their final six boys for judges houses and then, it was the girls’ turn.
Gary Barlow, Nicole Scherzinger, Tulisa and Louis Walsh spent quite a while debating about who was best suited to the ITV show but finally, they decided that the six acts they were sending through were Ella Henderson, Amy Mottram, Jade Collins, Lucy Spraggan, Leanne Robinson and Jade Ellis.
On hearing the news an elated Ella gushed:
“My heart is pounding. I’m so happy. I’m so, so, so happy!”
Jade Collins looked shocked to have made the grade.

Totally agree, and lets hope the ‘best’ 3 get through. News has it the bullying and the “I’m the best” has emerged re Ms AM (contestant). She might have an OKish voice but the diva attitude imprinted already. Ella is a favourite but Lucy is closing-in & her witty lyrics should get her far.
Melanie McCabe was far better than all those put together
Clearly somebody on the XFactor hierarchy does not like Jade Richards. Relegated to XTRA facta, then not seen at all at Boot Camp.
Passed over for “a really original” singer doing a cross between Artic Monkeys and Victoria Wood.
I think Jade Richards, Melanie McCabe and Hayley Evetts should have got through. They will all make it one day as they are very talented.
Lucy is good but, like Janet last year, won’t be versatile enough for the competition. I really don’t understand how Jade Ellis got through when she didn’t even learn her song properly which shows she doesn’t have what it takes.
I think the producers wanted more oruginal singers but if that’s the case why not change the rules so contestants can’t apply again instead of putting them through it again for nothing.
I really hope Nicole doesn’t put Rylan Clarke through to live shows, he is so annoying and has no talent! At least he’s the only joke on this year’s show!
Last year 8 acts in each group got through to judges’ houses so why couldn’t they do that this year or perhaps next year they should let the viewers decide who gets through!
Had to put this in girls chat. Why the hell do they have to limit each category, or even have categories at all. Jade & melanie should be in there fighting. Also, WTF is going on with choosing Rylan Clarke. He`s nothing more than at best a holiday “CAMP” novelty act. To be honest I think he thought he was auditioning for the pointless crap TOWIE, where he would fit in so well. Get a grip COWELL cos there are plenty of intelligent people out here who want to see the very best this country has to offer. JADE OUT and RYLAN in, proves you are trying to insult the british public. If I want to laugh I`ll watch the comedy channel. Think of the people you upset with your rediculous choices like the young rock singer with the little son. He was gutted and shaking his head in sheer disbelief when IDIOT RYLAN got the nod. Cowell, do you honestly think that you would lose viewers if you cut most of the crap.The world of entertainment is a healthier place without the likes of RYLAN CLARKE & the rediculously annoying JEDWARD.
