Jade Ellis has admitted that she can’t believe how much she has experienced in her short X Factor journey so far.

The mum of one won a place in the live shows, after she impressed Tulisa Contostavlos at judges houses earlier this month and as well as a three day break on the tropical island of St Lucia, she has enjoyed celeb style makeovers, photo shoots and a number of TV, radio and newspaper interviews over the last few days.

All this and the live rounds haven’t even kicked off yet.

The London born singer admitted that she sees the show as an ‘amazing opportunity’ for her and her six year old daughter. Speaking on Daybreak this morning, she confessed:

“For me and my daughter it’s an amazing opportunity. I am just going to take every little opportunity I can and hope it really works out for us.”

Ellis added:

“I have done a lot of things I never thought I’d get to do already, in the short period of time that I’ve been involved in the show. If that’s what I can do in this short period of time, then I can only imagine what can happen later on.”

Jade, Lucy Spraggan and Ella Henderson will be representing the girls and Team Tulisa on the ITV series this year, however there is an outside chance that they will be joined by wildcard contestant Amy Mottram.

She is one of four formerly eliminated acts that the public will have the chance to vote back in at the weekend. Although Gary Barlow’s Christopher Maloney is the bookies favourite to return, Amy is currently sitting in second place and Tulisa is hoping she wins, as she says the team are really missing the teen singer.

She added:

“The girls are really missing Amy.”

“It’s a tough one because the other wild cards are really strong. Everyone loves Amy, the girls really miss her, she’s amazing. She’s worthy and talented. ”

She admitted that she is expecting to get as close to her ladies as she did to Little Mix last year and joked:

“Give it a couple of weeks they’ll be moving in with me!”

The X Factor live shows start this Saturday night and the supposed song list for the singers has been leaked online. Check it out and tell us if you think Jade can shine in the comments section below…
