Apparently, one of this year’s X Factor hopefuls, James Nti – who’s also known as Clapz Shizzayne – wasted no time in getting down to the serious business of Boot Camp…

Nope, not rehearsing for his performances but bedding a fellow singer who is reportedly one of this year’s girl band singers.

However, following their night of passion, the lady in question apparently “begged” James not to tell anyone about the one night stand, or reveal her identity.

Speaking to The Sun, James explained that the liaison left him no time to practise his routine and song for his first Boot Camp performance, and the whole thing descended into chaos.

He said, “I didn’t really rehearse because I had a friend come round…

“It wasn’t what I expected it to be but she was decent, so I just kissed her and it developed into… you know what I’m saying.

“I promised I wouldn’t say the name. She was really begging me, ‘Please don’t tell anyone. I don’t want my parents to know’.”

The paper adds, “James picked up the girl at a boozy party thrown by show bosses in Liverpool — despite being warned to be on his best behaviour.”

A show insider said, “All the contestants are told to be professional and focus on their audition but producers can’t stop things like this happening.

“The fact he didn’t have enough time to rehearse caused problems.”

Lothario James also of course made a romantic play for judge Tulisa, handing her a rose at his audition and earning a peck on the cheek for his thoughtfulness.

Of James, Tulisa said, “Guys, I’m not being funny, I’m a single girl right now and the honest truth is I’m not getting any love anywhere and Clapz right now is giving me that love.”

But her fellow judge Gary Barlow jokingly warned her to steer clear of James, saying, “Careful… you’ll get the Clapz off him.”
