The X Factor results show will be a star studded affair this Sunday night.

Last weekend Taylor Swift and Rebecca Ferguson took to the stage, to showcase their latest songs during the second results show of the series and it’s been confirmed that this weekend former X Factor runners up JLS will make an appearance.

The lads finished in second place on the 2008 series of the show, behind Alexandra Burke and will be taking a performance slot to promote their new song, ‘Hottest Girl in the World.’

The song will act as the lead single from their upcoming album ‘Evolution’ and is slated for release on 21 October 2012.

The lads confirmed their appearance this morning, tweeting:

“We very excited to confirm that JLS will be performing HGITW LIVE on @TheXFactor this weekend! RT if you will be watching! JLSHQ x”

Marvin Humes added:

“Yes it was kept a secret however now we can announce that we are performing on #xfactor this Sunday night!!!! Hottest Girl let’s go! Marv x”

Despite recently branding the ITV talent show ‘sh*t’, Labrinth is set to put his issues behind him and perform on Sunday.

It is thought he will be joined by stunning Scottish singer Emeli Sande, who features on his latest track ‘Beneath Your Beautiful.’

Written by Labrinth, Mike Posner and Sandé, it will be released as the sixth single from Labrinth’s debut album Electronic Earth on November 18, 2012.

We can only assume that despite his problems with the show and it’s format, Labrinth has been obligated to appear on the X Factor, as he is signed to Simon Cowell’s SYCO record label.
