X Factor 2012 Judges Houses: Nicole Scherzinger doesn’t know if James Arthur can cope with the monstrous music industry
James Arthur delivered a pretty knock out performance at judges houses last month but it seems as though a stellar vocal performance isn’t enough to guarantee him a place on the live shows
The singer songwriter will be featured on tonight’s episode of the ITV show, singing ‘I Can’t Make You Love Me’ by Bonnie Raitt for Ne-Yo and Nicole Scherzinger in a plush Dubai hotel.
Afterwards Ne-Yo said:
“It seemed like he was singing for his life.”
ITV have uploaded a sneak peek of tomorrow night’s show, where Nicole reveals which three singers she is taking through to the live shows and speaking to James about how she came to her decision, she spells out some concerns about his personality.
Scherzinger says:
“When you perform….your heart and soul, you throw it out there and that’s my favourite attribute of an artist. What I am concerned about James is that I just don’t know if this competition is for you.”
She added:
“I don’t know if you’re just that torch singer songwriter that does that thing and is going to be able to deal with the bright lights and to deal with the monster that the industry can be.”
“So I’ve had to make a decision, there is only three people that I can take with me through to the live shows…..”

If James Arthur does not get through then Nicole Scherzinger does not know what she is talking about. This guy is so talented its unbeliveable if he does’t get through. He was the one reason I was watching X Factor this year if he does not go through it a fix and I will never watch the programme again I will watch the voice and strickly come dancing instead so I am waiting for her desion tomorrow night if he does’t go through Simon will need to fix it as veiwing figures are dropping and mostly its because people that deserve to go through dont in order to put through people that are no wear near as talented or people who are only there for the laugh.
Whether we are all being set up – as Ella, Christopher and James are supposedly not through, but if they are dropped then I will stop watching Xfactor. If Rylan gets through – someone who can’t sing but is a pretty boy – and these guys don’t then I’m off to watch Strictly. I watched over the years some great singers get shafted, and I refused to be manipulated any more. These are people’s lives the producers are messing with.
