X Factor 2012: Kelly Rowland warns Britney Spears, Nicole Scherzinger & Demi Lovato about the wrath of Simon Cowell

Kelly Rowland has been very quiet since it as announced that she wouldn’t be returning to The X Factor this year but it seems the singer has finally found her tongue.

The former Destiny’s Child hitmaker joined the ITV show last year and sat on the panel alongside Gary Barlow, Tulisa and Louis Walsh. It was claimed that bosses and the main man Simon Cowell were unhappy with her performance, her commitment and her persona and when it was announced in May that Kelly wouldn’t be back, she claimed that she turned down the job but X Factor insiders say they didn’t give her the option.

Now Kelly has issued some words of warning to new X Factor judges Britney Spears, Nicole Scherzinger and Demi Lovato. Britney and Demi have been drafted in for the US version, while Nicole has been shifted to the UK to take Kelly’s place.

Rowland claimed that they need to expect Cowell to lay the blame directly at their door if they make any mistakes at all and she told MTV:

‘It is a lot of responsibility and when, or if, you screw up everybody blames you. Simon included.’

However, she said it will be a good move for the ladies in terms of their career and said she is ‘excited’ to see how things work out for the stars.

Kelly continued:

“I’m excited for them. I’ll let them know it’s a lot of work. It is a lot of work, but it was definitely a great process.

“You might be running into the next big thing. Or, like for Britney, the next big her, or the next big Demi Lovato. I think that’s really exciting for them, and they’ll be a part of that, and they’ll never forget that.”

Rowland thinks the key to success involves working closely with your contestants and dedicating enough time and energy to making sure they do things right. She continued:

“Take it one day at a time. It’s a lot of work, but it’s a lot of fun. Choose the right songs and songs that will make people excited, make them feel something… you have to touch people’s hearts.”

Amelia Lily revealed this week that Kelly spent a day with her in the recording studio earlier this year and even though the song they worked on didn’t make her debut album, she still appreciated all the advice and help her mentor gave.

Will you miss Kelly from this year’s lineup? Was Cowell right to let her go? Leave your comments below…

Kelly commited to her acts and she is still in touch with them. Amelia Lily has just said she still gets texts and phone calls from Kelly. Only the racists did not connect with Kelly. Most us the neutrals did!

i thought people were so harsh on kelly. she could be a little annoying sometimes but overall i found her to be funny and deffinately of a lot more worth than frickin tulisa! she knows a hell of a lot more about the industry and the technicalities of vocals. all tulisa did was scream over people about “ENERGY” and “REPRESENTING” and “MY LITTLE MUFFFFINNNNNNNSSSSSS!!!” ¬_¬

    the wrong girl was fired.

Nick I agree with you. I really think that they wanted a scapegoat for the failure of the X Factor failing. Rather than looking at the fact that people were sick of publicity overload ITV blamed it on Kelly. If she was that bad she would not of won two TV personality awards which were both voted for.
Also the UK gutter press in particular a certain Mr Dan Wootton(whom I convinced is on Cowell’s payroll), didn’t like the fact the fact that Kelly was opinionated and didn’t want to be dragged into the media circus, hence they portrayed her as an “Angry black woman” and a trouble maker.
I am more excited to see the X Factor USA. I will not be watching the UK addition of the show.

I actually watched her interview on MTV and she never mentioned Nicole – she was more excited about Britney and Demi
